The cryptocurrency exchange Binance introduced a new feature on May 26 that allows real-time trading in streams on its social platform Binance Square.
The innovation, called Live Trading, integrates the ability to execute cryptocurrency trades directly from live streams where content creators explain their strategies to viewers. The initiative aims to make crypto trading more responsive, educational, and community-oriented, bridging the gap between analysis and execution.
The company emphasized the seamless nature of the experience:
“What if you could watch a trader explain their moves — with shared screens, charts, and live commentary — and instantly act on that information without switching apps or missing a beat? Now you can, with Live Trading: a powerful new way to trade through live content, embedded right into Square, our crypto-focused social platform.”
Built into the Binance Square live streaming infrastructure, the new tool allows users to track comments and trading setups in real-time while simultaneously placing trades on spot or futures.
Binance described: Live Trading is a new feature in Binance Square that allows tracking market insights in real-time — and acting instantly, all within a single live session.
For content creators, the update is also significant, Binance emphasized. Eligible streamers can display up to 100 past trades and share new ones in real-time using strategic maps that appear right during the stream. These trades are interactive — viewers can click to access details of the trading pair and place orders.
Creators also benefit financially through a commission of up to 50% of the trading fees generated by their subscribers. Live Trading turns live sessions into a practical experience.
