This is a program to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the first Bitcoin transaction. May 22, 2025, marks 15 years since programmer Laszlo Hanyecz spent 10,000 BTC to buy two pizzas – the first real transaction using Bitcoin. To commemorate this event, Binance is hosting a series of global activities called 'Binance Pizza Day 2025'.

The highlight is a program with a total reward of up to 5 million USD in BTC. Users can receive a 'Pizza Box' worth up to 20 dollars for each successful referral, with a chance to share an additional 50,000 dollars if they are among the first 100 referrals.

Additionally, Binance is organizing over 28 community meetups in major cities like Sydney, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, and Johannesburg, combined with online games on Telegram and Discord, where participants can collect pizza-making ingredients to win prizes from a 15,000 USDC fund.

This event is not just a celebration but also a reminder of Bitcoin's long journey – from a 40-dollar transaction to becoming a global asset valued at over 110,000 dollars on the anniversary date.
