Binance introduced WalletConnect (WCT) as its 67th Launchpool project, enabling users to farm WCT tokens by staking BNB, FDUSD, or USDC from April 11 to April 14, 2025. A total of 40 million WCT (4% of the total supply) was allocated for The WCT token was officially listed on Binance on April 15, 2025, with trading pairs including WCT/USDT, WCT/USDC, WCT/BNB, WCT/FDUSD, and WCT/TRY. The listing was accompanied by a "Seed" tag, indicating it as a new and innovative asset.

During the farming period, users could lock their assets into the following pool

BNB Pool: 34,000,000 WCT (85% of rewards)

FDUSD Pool: 2,000,000 WCT (5% of rewards)

USDC Pool: 4,000,000 WCT (10% of rewards)

Hourly caps per user were set at 35,416 WCT for the BNB pool, 2,083 WCT for the FDUSD pool, and 4,166 WCT for the USDC pool.

The WCT token operates on the Optimism (OP) Mainnet and serves multiple purposes within the WalletConnect ecosystem, including governance, staking, and potential future fee payments.
