#BinancePizza

15 years ago — on May 22, 2010 — a programmer from Las Vegas, Laszlo Hanyecz, made history by paying for a real purchase with Bitcoin for the first time — two mushroom pizzas from Papa John’s with sausage, tomatoes, and onions, which cost him "only" 10,000 BTC (at that time $25).

Hanyecz posted an advertisement on the Bitcoin Talk forum, after which one of the few cryptocurrency enthusiasts at that time generously agreed to accept the coins to his wallet and arrange delivery to the desired address.

Now 10,000 BTC is worth a billion dollars.
