Finally concludes the project of rehabilitating the 400Kv high voltage line, a line that spans 250km from Buena Vista - Uribante.
With this achievement, the high voltage line that began in 1987 is activated, not only fulfilling its role in the Regional electrical system, but also representing an integration to date of an investment close to $500MM. This will not only result in the transmission and exchange of about 400 MW in the involved states (Trujillo, South of Lake Maracaibo, Merida, and Táchira) but also implies improving the voltage profile of the region, its communication systems, and associated teleprotection, as a result of the recovery of the fiber optic links involved throughout the route, thus allowing for quick responses to instability contingencies due to electrical disturbances.
