The block interval will decrease from 1.5 seconds to 0.75 seconds, effectively doubling the transaction throughput and enabling near-instant transaction confirmations.
2. Improved Validator Communication (BEP-563)
Enhancements to the peer-to-peer messaging protocol among validators will lead to faster consensus, reduced missed votes, and improved network stability.
3. Optimized Block Synchronization (BEP-564)
Introduction of new message types in the bsc/2 protocol will allow nodes to fetch multiple blocks in a single request, significantly improving synchronization speeds across the network.
