Why is Bitcoin surging so much while altcoins remain quiet?
Because the funds pushing Bitcoin and those pushing altcoins are not the same. Currently, outside funds coming in only recognize Bitcoin as the core asset, so they only buy Bitcoin, and no one is buying altcoins for the time being. For altcoins to rise, they need the internal funds from the crypto circle to work together. The current point of contention is whether the main funds will take advantage of Bitcoin's momentum to directly exit or pull up altcoins before withdrawing. As it stands, it hasn't reached the stage for altcoins to gain momentum, so it's worth keeping an eye on the performance of the leading altcoin, Ethereum.
