Going out to play tomorrow. Before I leave, I want to share a personal SOL ambush strategy. This idea actually originated from a post by Sister Hui @0xmagnolia, so I want to express my gratitude first.
To put it simply, it’s about understanding the culture first, then finding targets to buy memes.
Rather than waiting for others to shout about a meme that has already risen a lot, and then you check what the meme is and what the culture is; that way, you’re naturally a step behind, making it too easy to be left holding the bag.
The best way to understand the culture is definitely to browse foreign social apps like 4chan, Reddit, TikTok, etc.
However, I have limited time and my English isn't great, so I take shortcuts. What do I browse? I check out Bilibili's meme encyclopedia and meme guide. They also cover some of the hottest meme cultures online, so I mainly focus on their write-ups about foreign memes, which have a higher probability of spreading.
Just to mention a couple, like Doro and the Ai Shan Hai Jing series, these are actually relatively well-known concepts on the internet. However, in the crypto space, they haven't really fermented much. Then I take a look at existing tokens, see which ones have a low market cap and have been trading sideways for several weeks, and I’ll stealthily invest.
If I lose, it won’t be much. If it gets discovered, it’s a big hit. The idea is to pursue “position comfort.”
With a small investment to gain a lot, without heavy exposure, buying a few dozen or a few hundred dollars worth, if it doubles, I can break even. Whenever the big players notice and it starts to rise, it’ll be comfortable.
Is there anything impossible in a bull market? I think there’s nothing that can’t be done, only limitations in imagination.
