From 2010 to 2025, Bitcoin faced several sharp crashes. In 2011, it fell from $32 to $2 due to a Mt. Gox hack. In 2013, after reaching $1,100, it plunged to $200 by 2015. The 2017 bull run ended with an 84% crash from nearly $20,000 to $3,000 in 2018. In 2021, Bitcoin hit $69,000, then dropped below $16,000 in 2022 following interest rate hikes and the FTX collapse. It recovered through 2023–2024, hitting new highs in 2024, but corrected in 2025 amid profit-taking and regulatory pressures. Despite drops, Bitcoin remains resilient and influential.

#CEXvsDEX101 Centralized Exchanges (CEXs) like Binance or Coinbase act as intermediaries, offering user-friendly platforms, fast transactions, and customer support. However, users must trust the exchange with their funds and data. In contrast, Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs) like Uniswap or PancakeSwap allow peer-to-peer trading directly on the blockchain, offering more privacy and control. DEXs reduce the risk of hacks or censorship but may have lower liquidity and require more technical knowledge. Choosing between a CEX and DEX depends on your priorities: convenience and support, or control and decentralization. Understand both to navigate the crypto space wisely.

#TradingTypes101 Trading comes in various forms, each suiting different goals and styles. Day trading involves opening and closing positions within a single day. Swing trading captures short- to medium-term trends over days or weeks. Scalping seeks quick profits from small price movements, often within minutes. Position trading is long-term, based on fundamentals. Algorithmic trading uses automated systems to execute trades based on predefined rules. Copy trading lets beginners mimic expert traders. Understanding your risk tolerance, time commitment, and strategy preferences is key to choosing the right type. Master one style before exploring others to build consistent trading success.
