$SUI Network's Cetus Protocol Hacked for $223 Million
The largest decentralized exchange (DEX) on Sui Network, Cetus Protocol, has suffered a major exploit with hackers draining approximately $223 million worth of tokens. Cetus confirmed that $162 million of the stolen funds have been "paused" as they work with the Sui Foundation to recover the remainder. The attacker used spoof tokens to exploit price curves and reserve calculations, manipulating liquidity to extract real assets. Trading has been halted as the team investigates the incident.
