Trump's Crypto Partners Scammed People out of $2 Million
In July 2024, hackers hacked the Dough Finance platform, causing users to lose $2.5 million. The founders promised to compensate for all losses, but instead launched a new crypto project with Trump called World Liberty Financial, earning over $65 million.
One of the Dough Finance investors, who lost $1 million in the platform's hack, has sued the founders of World Liberty Financial – hearings are scheduled for April 2026.
