JP Morgan's CEO, Jamie Dimon, said at a recent conference that he will allow his clients to buy #bitcoin , but they will not be custodians of the #criptomoneda . Despite this advance with cryptocurrency, Jamie remains skeptical about it.
This decision marks an important step for one of the largest banks in the United States, particularly given the skepticism of JP Morgan's own CEO, who has historically criticized Bitcoin for the way some people misuse it.
According to CNBC, the bank is looking to offer its clients access to Bitcoin through the #etf of the cash type, as so far the bank has limited itself only to futures-based products. Undoubtedly, a significant advancement for the sector.
