#Microsoft has integrated the first Web3 data stream into Fabric in collaboration with Space and Time. The $SXT price rose by around 10 percent after the news.
Microsoft announced that it has integrated crypto-related real-time data streams into its Fabric platform in collaboration with blockchain-based data provider Space and Time (#SXT ).
With this news, developers will now be able to directly access on-chain data from networks such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Sui via Microsoft Azure OneLake.
SXT’s data verification infrastructure uses zero-knowledge proofs. The information is stored in validator databases on a decentralized network. With this infrastructure, developers can query SQL data using a sub-second processor called “Proof of SQL.”
Microsoft’s corporate venture arm M12 previously participated in Space and Time’s $20 million Series A round and led the strategic investment round in 2022.
Space and Time CEO Nate Holiday stated that the integration was not based on a commercial agreement and that neither party paid. Microsoft positions SXT as a “direct product partner” as the first Web3 data provider it integrated into Fabric.
Microsoft Fabric Product Manager Sruly Taber emphasized that this integration not only provides developers with more reliable data, but also aligns with their vision for Web3 technology to spread across different sectors.
Following the announcement, SXT increased by around 10 percent from $0.106 to $0.117. At the time of writing, SXT is trading at $0.115.
