Whale Alert, a company specialized in tracking large cryptocurrency transfers and sharing the details on its website and X account, managed to discover a massive amount of XRP transferred by anonymous wallets.

The transaction took place 12 hours ago and sparked enthusiastic discussion among the XRP community on social network X.

Meanwhile, the price of XRP dropped by 2.3% today after rising by 4.95% on Monday. It is currently trading at $2.34.

75,220,590 XRP on the move A mentioned data source reported that 12 hours ago, an unknown whale moved 75,220,590 XRP to another wallet classified by Whale Alert as 'unknown'.

The value of this cryptocurrency was $178,626,405 at the time the transfer started. The cryptocurrency community began a heated discussion in the comments section, speculating on what this transaction means under the current market conditions, and who this unknown sender and recipient might be.

Details shared by XRPscan tracker showed that while the sender was actually an anonymous wallet, the destination was a crypto address linked to the major cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com, with offices worldwide and headquartered in Singapore.

Ripple sounds the alarm on XRP-related scams by Alex Dovbnya Ripple issued a major scam warning earlier today, with the blockchain giant warning about a scam on its official social media account on platform X.

The company warned users that rapidly evolving artificial intelligence technology allows scammers to spread images and even videos (initially using deepfake technology, and now rapidly evolving AI tools) impersonating influential figures in the cryptocurrency world, including Elon Musk and prominent American politicians.

And the founders of major cryptocurrency platforms (Binance, Cardano), and the directors of Ripple. Ripple's post confirmed that Ripple or any of its leaders (CEO Garlinghouse, or President Monica Long or CTO David Schwartz) would not ask the community to send personal information or any cryptocurrency to receive double that amount later. The co-founder and former CEO of Binance, CZ, tweeted that he saw an AI-generated video of himself where his voice was reproduced so well that it was hard for CZ himself to tell if the video was real or fake.
