The United States and China have reached an agreement to temporarily reduce the heavy trade tariffs imposed between the two countries last month.

As a result, the trade war between the two largest global economies has cooled down. However, the truce is not proof that the issue is resolved. In addition to the understanding having a validity period (90 days), the tariffs negotiated by the US are still the highest since 1930.
