Starting January 2025, supervision of cryptocurrency assets in Indonesia will officially be under the Financial Services Authority (OJK). This step aims to prevent illegal financial transactions and enhance protection for investors. OJK has also established an Anti-Scam Center to handle complaints related to fraud in the digital financial sector.
