Market psychology: how not to be a hamster 🐹

Well, let's go. This will not be about technical analysis, but about why you bought at the highs again and then sold at a loss. Yes, yes, I did that too. More than once. And here's what I understood...

1. Fear and greed - two glamorous prostitutes

They control the market. Not analytics, not news, not the moon in Jupiter.

Fear and greed.

When there is fear in the market – everyone runs around like cockroaches after the light. They sell at a loss because 'that's it, it's the end', 'the project is not right', 'I'll think about it, maybe I'll buy cheaper later'. Yeah, sure, you will... but no.

When the market rises – everyone suddenly becomes a confident genius.

"This is a rocket! I’m going all in!"

In a couple of days – a drop, panic, and... back to square one. Brilliant. Right?

2. 90% of traders are in the red. You are not an exception.

Do you know who makes money on this carousel? About 10 percent. And it's not because they read the moon or predict on the candles.

They just do the opposite.

When everything is red, like a face after a fiasco – they buy. When everything is green and singing 'To the moon' – they sell. That's the whole secret, baby.

3. A lesson from Grandpa Rothschild

Remember his words:

> "Buy when the streets are running with blood."

And this is not a metaphor. When everyone is in panic, when the chats are silent, and no one is messaging you – that's when you should be in ambush. Wait. Don't fidget. And buy when it's scary. Not the other way around, like 90% of 'investors' do on emotions.

4. Don't buy when it's green 🟢

This is my favorite. When the candle is green, everyone gets excited:

"I'm buying while it hasn't flown away!" And then – bam! And it's red. And you sit there, thinking: 'Why?...

Here's a rule for you:

> Never buy when it's green. Even if you really want to.

Wait for a pullback. The price will be better. And you'll be great.

5. The most common question when the market rises

Seriously. When everything is flying up – people start messaging me:

"What to buy? What's trending right now?"

And when the market is in the red – silence. Even the echo is silent.

So, if you asked this question in a green market – maybe you are a hamster. Don't take offense. I was one too. The main thing is to stop being one. Think with your own head. Don't be swayed by emotions. The market is not about luck. It's hell, discipline, and patience.

P.S. Don't buy when it's green, okay? 🔴
