🔥 How the burning mechanism works on Binance
• Since December 2022, Binance has been burning 50% of the trading fees collected from spot and margin trading pairs LUNC (for example, LUNC/USDT, LUNC/BUSD).
• The collected fees are converted into LUNC and sent to a special address for burning, which reduces the total supply of tokens in circulation.
• Burning occurs monthly. For example, in April 2025, more than 413 million LUNC were burned, which became the lowest monthly figure due to reduced trading activity.
• Binance publishes reports on each burn, including the number of tokens burned and the corresponding transactions on the blockchain.
