Recently, I came across an L1 project called Pharos network, which has launched a testnet. This project aims to create a super-fast, EVM-compatible, internet-level blockchain that enhances payments and applications through trustlessness and decentralization.

To be honest, I don't think there are many special features in terms of functionality. Moreover, as an L1, the current funding of only $8 million is completely insufficient. Additionally, the ecosystem interaction volume in the testnet is very low, and there is still a lot of room for improvement. Lastly, the project leader is a Chinese national (coming from Ant Financial), and the technical lead is an Indian guy, so for now, I can only give this project a rating of 'understanding'.
The only standout aspect might be that the leading investment institutions are Hack VC and Fraction. 👊 L1 must issue its own token, and if there can be significant new investments and new ecosystem interactions introduced in the future, it could be worth pursuing further. For now, I think it's enough to just understand it, and if you have some spare time, you can also get involved a bit and become an OG, haha! 👊
