If you proactively exit the show-off circle, use 3x leverage, and focus solely on BTC, I absolutely do not believe you can still lose money.
Every pullback can be a 3x long position with your eyes closed, because the probability of Bitcoin dropping another 30% after a pullback is basically zero, unless you are always going long at historical highs.

Ethereum successfully bottomed at 1500, using 34u of margin could yield over 1700 in profit; what if you used 100, 500, or 1000? Hitting 8000, you'd take off directly.
