Changpeng Zhao (CZ), one of the most important names in the cryptocurrency sector, continues to inform investors about the industry. A short while ago, Binance founder CZ made a post to help investors secure their cryptocurrency assets more safely.
Following the theft of customer data at Coinbase, the successful executive took action and provided four recommendations for crypto investors. Here is the post made by Binance founder CZ on his X account:
"A few simple security tips against phishing attacks:
Never share your password with a 'Support Agent.' Real support teams will not ask for your password.
Do not click on links in emails. If you need to log into your account, type the address yourself or log in through a trusted bookmark you have saved. Make sure the site is the correct one before entering your password.
Do not use the same password on multiple sites. Use a strong and different password for each site. You can use a password manager to manage this. Moreover, these managers do not auto-fill passwords on phishing sites, providing additional protection.
Use a hardware two-factor authentication (2FA) device (for example, Yubikey). Such devices prevent most phishing attacks.
Stay safe, be SAFU!
