- The Dubai Finance Department has announced a strategic partnership with a cryptocurrency platform, allowing the payment of government fees using major market-cap cryptocurrencies, in a move considered the first of its kind in the region.

A memorandum of understanding was signed on Monday between government officials in Dubai and Mohammed Al-Hakeem, President of "Crypto.com" in the UAE, on the sidelines of the Dubai Financial Technology Summit.

According to the Finance Department's statement, individuals and "business clients of government entities" will be able to pay service fees through the associated digital wallets, once the technical arrangements for the initiative are completed. $BTC $ETH $XRP #Dubai_Crypto_Group #Binance
