Binance Pizza: The Legend of the Bitcoin Pizzas

Back in the early days of crypto, before the world truly grasped its potential, there was a programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz—a guy with a serious craving for pizza and a visionary belief in Bitcoin. On May 22, 2010, Laszlo made history by posting on a crypto forum:

“I’ll trade 10,000 Bitcoins for two large pizzas.”

At the time, those Bitcoins were worth just $41. A fellow user from the UK took the deal and ordered him two Papa John’s pizzas. That moment became the first-ever real-world transaction using Bitcoin—and it marked the birth of Bitcoin Pizza Day.
