The Ethereum Foundation has launched a security initiative aimed at supporting the broader adoption of blockchain (onchain) technologies, according to an announcement made on May 14. This effort is part of ongoing efforts to enhance Ethereum's role in the field of programmable digital assets.

Frederik Svants, Head of Protocol Security Research, and Josh Stark from the Ethereum Foundation's management team will serve as the co-chairs of the initiative. Three contributors to the Ethereum ecosystem - Samchson, Mahdi Zerwali, and Zach O'Brien - will help guide the project.
