#EthereumSecurityInitiative The Ethereum Foundation has launched the "Trillion Dollar Security Initiative" to bolster the network's security standards, aiming to make Ethereum a "civilization-scale infrastructure" capable of securing trillions of dollars in value. This initiative will unfold in three phases, starting with a comprehensive assessment of Ethereum's security across areas like wallet UX, smart contract tooling and consensus protocol. Led by Fredrik Svantes and Josh Stark, the initiative seeks to identify vulnerabilities, prioritize fixes and improve safety communication. This effort coincides with Ethereum's recent Pectra upgrade, which introduced key improvements to the network's functionality.
