The growth of stablecoins and RWA tokenization benefits Ethereum
In a recent note to its clients, Bernstein explains that the recent rise of Ethereum is partly fueled by the growth of stablecoins and the tokenization of real world assets (or RWA). These two sectors are experiencing strong expansion, and Ethereum remains the preferred blockchain for these activities.
Stablecoins, which are cryptocurrencies backed by stable assets like the dollar, have seen their usage explode, particularly among crypto traders and investors, as well as for fast and low-cost payments and fund transfers.
Similarly, RWA tokenization, which involves creating digital versions of traditional assets like real estate or stocks, is gaining popularity, with traditional finance giants like BlackRock and Franklin Templeton investing in this area.$ETH
