People say #Bittensor subnets are too volatile..

They complain it’s hard to plan, hard to fund and hard to make money from

That emissions are too concentrated and teams without traction are getting left behind

But I guess the question is..

Do you really want a free and open market.. or just the idea of one?

Because a real open market doesn’t guarantee comfort at all.. It actually rewards performance and punishes complacency

It’s volatile because value is actively being discovered and constantly rebalanced in real time..

That’s the dynamic you signed up for

Emissions are competitive because they should be..

Not every subnet is supposed to win.. and most won’t

That’s the cost of building something where value is earned

The alternative is a tamer, more predictable system..

Where emissions are flattened, risk is less and innovation slowly dies under "safer dynamics"

Bittensor is hard because coordination at this scale should be hard

And the fact that it’s working at all means it’s already winning
