Today marks a turning point for the Pi community. The Pi Foundation is pleased to announce the official launch of Pi Network Ventures, a development initiative with 100 million dollars in Pi and USD, which will be strategically invested in startups and businesses, including those that advance the utility, adoption, and tangible impact of Pi.
The Pi allocated to the initiative comes from the 10% of tokens specifically designated for the foundation's reserves (more information on Pi supply and tokenomics is available on the Pi Blog.)
