Markets today: warm day generates expectations around the upward trajectory of the Ibovespa B3

One day after the release of the minutes from the Monetary Policy Committee (Copom), and the release of the CPI from the United States, there is little left for the market to react to this Wednesday (14). Today, IBGE releases March data for the services sector and the Central Bank informs the results of the pre-Copom questionnaire. Although the earnings season is in full swing, no results today should have the power to impact the trading session. Find out how the closing was

The reading that the Central Bank is close to ending the Selic rate hike cycle, reinforced yesterday by the Copom minutes, combined with the trade truce between the United States and China, helped boost the gains of the Ibovespa B3 this Tuesday, which closed up 1.76%, at 138,963 points, a record closing of all time.

At the intraday high, the index reached 139,419 points, the highest value ever recorded by the local stock reference during trading hours.

The rise of blue chips, combined with the advance of domestic stocks, ensured a very favorable performance for the Ibovespa in today's trading session.

The highlight was the PN shares of Bradesco, which rose 2.15%. Meanwhile, Vale's shares increased by 1.64%, on a day of gains for iron ore futures contracts in Dalian. After starting the day pressured by the advance, Petrobras shares closed higher: the company's PN shares rose 1.52%, while the ON shares increased by 0.59%.
