"A Profitable Mistake: My XRP/USDT Trade That Taught Me Discipline"
I recently traded $XRP $USDC #altcointrade , entering the market with \$20 and closing out with $22. On paper, that’s a profit—a 10% gain. But here’s the twist: this wasn’t how I had planned it.
My initial analysis predicted a stronger breakout based on support/resistance levels and recent volume spikes. I entered expecting at least a 20–25% move. However, the price action stalled, and after a sudden dip, I closed early to lock in small profits instead of risking a reversal. Emotion got the better of me—I feared losing the gain I had.
#TradeLessons eLessons What went wrong? I didn’t follow my original strategy or stop-loss plan. I let short-term emotions override my technical signals.
What did I learn? A profitable trade can still be a flawed trade if the plan isn’t followed. Strategy discipline matters more than short-term wins.
Next time? I’ll trust my analysis more, set clearer stop-loss and take-profit levels—and most importantly—stick to the plan.
