Binance Alpha will be the first platform to list and open trading for NEXPACE (NXPC). Trading is scheduled to begin on May 15, 2025. Additionally, an airdrop of NXPC tokens is coming, with the claim window opening on May 13, 2025, for eligible Alpha users who can use their Alpha Points to claim rewards. The full rules and the airdrop page will be available on the Alpha event page on May 13th.
NEXPACE (NXPC) is the foundational token of the MapleStory Universe ecosystem. It is designed to capture and represent the value generated from in-game activities and the broader growth of the ecosystem. NXPC serves several functions: it's used for transaction fees within the Layer 1 network, as a medium of exchange for acquiring NFT item baskets, and as a reserve asset for NESO, the in-game currency pegged to NXPC. Players can convert NXPC to NESO for item upgrades, while creators receive NXPC as incentives for their contributions, following a transparent distribution model. Furthermore, NXPC acts as an "IP ETF," reflecting the combined value of all underlying NFTs and in-game assets that it can redeem. The demand for NXPC is driven by both immediate utility within gameplay and its long-term role in the expanding creator economy of the MapleStory Universe.
