The recent short-selling strategy of Ethereum by a whale has not been successful
According to on-chain findings by BlockBeats, a whale's recent attempts to short-sell Ethereum (ETH) have not been successful. In the past 50 minutes, the whale borrowed 5,000 ETH, worth approximately $12.45 million, from a decentralized financial platform and short-sold at a price of $2,491.
Previously, the whale had short-sold 10,000 ETH but closed the position before the price surged, resulting in a loss of $430,000. If the position had remained open, the loss could have increased to $7 million.
