The recent short-selling strategy of a whale on Ethereum has not been successful $ETH

According to on-chain findings from BlockBeats, a whale's recent attempts to short-sell Ethereum (ETH) have not been successful. In the past 50 minutes, the whale borrowed 5,000 ETH, valued at approximately 12.45 million dollars, from a decentralized financial platform and short-sold it at a price of 2,491 dollars.

Previously, the whale had short-sold 10,000 ETH but closed the position before a sharp price increase, resulting in a loss of 430,000 dollars. If the position had remained open, the loss could have increased to 7 million dollars.
