Previously, commenting on investing in the Pi cryptocurrency these days, Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung, a personal financial planning expert at FIDT Investment Consulting and Asset Management JSC, said: 'Cryptocurrency is a vast market with many different currencies. However, investing in it is more like a form of trust and hope rather than a clear financial investment option.'
According to Mr. Dung, investors need to be cautious when 'pouring money' into Pi amid the unclear market trends and high risks currently.
Additionally, Pi is being created for free, so it is very difficult to see where the value of this currency lies to believe that it will increase in value.
“Like stocks, shares, gold, real estate… we can calculate why they go up and down. But with Pi, even the players themselves probably do not understand what gives it value,” he commented.
From there, expert Nguyen Anh Dung believes that cryptocurrencies are like a form of speculative asset. Without thorough research and market assurance, small investors may become easy prey for 'sharks'.
