According to reports, President Donald Trump's digital asset advisor and BTC Inc. CEO David Bailey has completed $300 million in funding for a new investment company focused on Bitcoin called Nakamoto.

The company is named after Bitcoin's founder Satoshi Nakamoto and is a publicly traded company with an ambitious strategy: to buy and hold Bitcoin and invest in global companies.

According to CNBC and The Information, this funding has been in preparation since January of this year, including $200 million in equity financing and $100 million in convertible bond financing. The funds will be used for global expansion and Bitcoin acquisitions.

CNBC cited an unnamed insider who stated that Nakamoto will merge with a company that is already listed on Nasdaq, with an announcement expected as early as next week. $BTC
