Bitcoin surpasses Amazon and becomes the fifth largest asset in the world by market value
The market value of Bitcoin reached $2.06 trillion during trading on Friday, making it the fifth largest asset in the world by market value, supported by the rise in the cryptocurrency's price after a trade agreement between the US and the UK, which raised hopes for progress between the US and China.
Thus, the market value of "Amazon," which stands at $2.04 trillion and is currently the sixth largest global asset by value, surpasses "Google" and silver.
Bitcoin rose by about 2.3% to $103,558.80 at 11:09 AM Mecca time, after touching $104,324.65.
Despite this recent rise, Bitcoin currently lags behind gold, and the companies "Microsoft," "Apple," and "Nvidia" in global asset rankings.
