A New Revolution in Digital Payments

Stripe, a leader in financial technology, has announced its support for payments using stablecoins, specifically USDC and USDP, across the Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon networks. In the first 24 hours of the launch, transactions were made from over 70 countries, indicating the increasing global demand for alternative payment solutions.

This move allows merchants to accept payments in stablecoins, automatically converting them to US dollars and storing them in Stripe wallets, with transaction fees of 1.5%, which is lower than traditional credit card fees.

This initiative follows Stripe's acquisition of the Bridge platform for $1.1 billion, enhancing its infrastructure in the digital currency space.

These developments demonstrate Stripe's commitment to providing innovative and secure payment solutions, paving the way for a more inclusive and efficient financial future.
