$A replaces $EOS as the native token of the network
The evolution of Vaulta from EOS is about to come to an end. On May 14, Vaulta will launch the official token conversion, introducing $A as the new symbol for its native utility token. $EOS token holders will be able to convert using the Vaulta conversion portal hosted on Unicove, utilizing secure and supported tools at any time.
What has happened
On May 7, a multi-signature (MSIG) proposal was submitted by block producers to deploy the Vaulta token contract. This proposal defines $A as the official symbol of the network and lays the foundation for the token swap. The MSIG is scheduled to be executed on May 14, when the token swap will officially go live.

Vaulta is not a fork or reset. It is the EOS network — reimagined and rebranded, fully compatible with all existing infrastructure and state history.
Secure exchange through the official portal
Advanced users can interact directly with core.vaulta on-chain, but for most people, the recommended method is to use the Vaulta Swap Portal, a secure and intuitive interface designed to reduce risk and eliminate phishing attempts.
