$USDC Trump Teases Major Trade Deal Announcement, Likely with the UK
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has hinted at a major commercial agreement set to be revealed this Thursday, sparking speculation about a potential trade breakthrough. According to a CNN source familiar with the matter, the deal is expected to be with the United Kingdom.
This development marks a potential easing of global trade tensions that have been fueled by steep tariffs in recent years. The new deal could provide much-needed relief for both U.S. and international markets.
“Big press conference tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. Miami time, in the Oval Office, about a BIG TRADE AGREEMENT WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF A GREAT AND VERY RESPECTED COUNTRY. THE FIRST OF MANY!!!” Trump announced late Wednesday on Truth Social.
While Trump did not name the country involved, his administration has been actively engaged in trade talks with the UK, India, South Korea, and Japan. Peter Navarro, Trump’s chief trade advisor, hinted that the UK might be the first to finalize a deal.
“I don’t know if it will be the United Kingdom or India first,” Navarro stated in a CNN interview. “We’ve hit a minor snag with India, which could delay things a bit, but multiple agreements are on the way—and they’ll be great for the American people.”
