Can you share your winning trading strategy? Happily !!!!!!!!!!! I have been trading for around 4 years in Options Trading and I have seen many ups and down as well. I would like to clear one thing here , there is no magic wand in this whole world which you wave and you will get 100% accuracy in trading. If you are looking for such thing , then I would say sorry and its impossible. Trading is all about maximizing the profits and minimizing the losses but in general traders do vice versa and end up in big losses. Just in one of the other answers I mentioned the pillars of successful trading. Patience, Acceptance, Process & Risk Management are the pillars of profitable day trading. Lets take this one by one. The first one is Process & Risk Management It is important that you have a process for trading , this will vary for trader to trader . Every trader has unique style and understanding of the market , the important thing is sticking to that process. Generally in process we can consider about the stock selections , the indicators to decide the trend and direction of the stocks , the various scanners which can be used and what not. You can pick up one thing at a time and start practicing it. Just a note here , you wont be able to master it in single day or one week , keep on trying till you get a good grip on it. Along with Process , Risk management is also very important and it also varies with the traders capital and risk taking abilities. One of the important moto of Trading is to minimize the losses and risk management takes care of that part. You should never keep all your eggs in one bucket is an old & very true saying. Hence proper diversification of your capital is must. There is no hard & fast rule that how it should be diversified but for beginners in day trading you should be trading with 30%–40% of your capital out of which also 25% should be used and the remaining should be set aside for emergency usage. The rest 60% should be utilized in MF , bonds and equity stocks One other aspect of Risk management is to trade only with strict stop loss.
