The United States' cryptocurrency strategic reserve plan, proposed by the Trump administration, aims to incorporate cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Solana, and Cardano into the national strategic reserves. The purpose of this plan is to diversify the assets of the foreign exchange stabilization fund, enhance economic resilience, and consolidate the global position of the U.S. dollar. Currently, the U.S. government holds approximately 200,000 Bitcoins, valued at around 21 billion dollars.
