$TRUMP Reuters: A cryptocurrency wallet holding 2 billion USD1, the identity of the owner remains a mystery

$TRUMP According to information from Reuters citing data from Arkham, a personal wallet is holding an amount of USD1 valued at 2 billion USD – the stablecoin issued by the cryptocurrency project WLFI of the family of U.S. President Donald Trump. However, the identity of the wallet's owner has not yet been confirmed.

Notable context:

USD1 is advertised by WLFI as a stablecoin backed by U.S. Treasury bonds, USD, and cash-equivalent assets. The total supply has now reached ~2.1 billion USD.

Recently, Eric Trump (Mr. Trump's son) announced that USD1 has been chosen by Abu Dhabi's MGX investment organization as the official stablecoin to execute a 2 billion USD investment in Binance.

Previously, Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren accused Mr. Trump of having a conflict of interest in promoting the stablecoin, as his family directly benefits from USD1.

It is still unclear whether this "whale" wallet belongs to an individual, a financial organization, or is politically related, but the concentration of large assets is raising questions about the transparency of USD1.
