Beware of Binance P2P Scam!
Just a heads-up for anyone using Binance P2P — there’s a scam going around that’s catching people off guard.
Here’s what happens:
A scammer places a buy order and makes it look like they’ve paid you.
Thinking the payment is legit, the seller releases their crypto.
Later, the scammer reverses the payment through their bank — and the seller ends up losing both the crypto and the money.
To stay safe:
Stick to verified buyers (check for the blue tick).
Always double-check the payment in your bank app — don’t trust just SMS or email alerts.
Be wary of deals that look too good — they probably are.
Keep all chats within the Binance P2P platform.
If something feels fishy, raise an appeal right away. Don’t release your crypto until things are clear.
