Buffett hinted at the uniqueness of Bitcoin in his new speech
The Berkshire Hathaway company, founded by Warren Buffett, still considers Bitcoin to be 'rat poison,' arguing that Bitcoin is just a casino. Buffett's closest friend, Charlie Munger, has even called crypto investors idiots, and the cryptocurrency itself - garbage.
But crypto enthusiasts are not backing down and continue to seek positivity even in Buffett's harshest statements. After his recent speech, in which he criticized fiat currency for devaluation due to increased issuance, the crypto community immediately saw a hint towards Bitcoin – as an anti-inflationary asset with limited issuance.
Despite all the statements and negative backdrop, the influx of capital into cryptocurrency continues: over the last 30 days, it has amounted to $19 billion. Moreover, 88% of all circulating Bitcoins are currently yielding profits for their investors.
