What does "FOMC" mean?
The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) is the main body of the Federal Reserve for monetary policy.
The FOMC holds eight regular meetings throughout the year and additional meetings as needed.

The minutes of regular meetings are published three weeks after the policy decision date. The composition of the committee changes at the first regular meeting of the year.
