XRP enters Nasdaq company's reserve Wellgistics, the pharmaceutical company listed on Nasdaq, aims for fast and low-cost operations in the healthcare industry by adopting XRP as a means of payment and reserve. Florida-based drug delivery company Wellgistics, listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange, announced that it will use XRP as both a means of payment and a treasury reserve asset. The company will use a $50 million loan to support this transformation. According to the statement, Wellgistics aims to reduce transaction times to seconds and reduce costs on international money transfers for pharmacies, suppliers and manufacturers by integrating XRP beyond using it as a reserve asset. On traditional remittances, transaction times usually reach 3 days, while fees range from $10-30. The company emphasized that this system will enable compatible, fast and low-cost transactions on a global scale. Brian Norton, CEO of Wellgistics, said, "We challenge the idea that healthcare should be connected to heavy-functioning, vehicle-filled systems." Norton also emphasized that success in the healthcare sector should no longer be sought in gigantic buildings, but in fast infrastructure and efficient digital systems: “We support infrastructure, not inertia.” The company plans to use the $50 million loan not only for XRP integration, but also to research healthcare-specific programmable liquidity solutions and on-demand payment models.

Pectra update has happened on Ethereum: What will happen now? Ethereum successfully activated "Pectra", one of the most important updates in its history, today. The upgrade, which includes 11 different EIPs, reduces transaction costs while increasing network capacity and staking efficiency, while greatly improving the user experience by strengthening wallets with smart contract capabilities. All of this paves the way for Ethereum for a greater number of users and a larger ecosystem. Ethereum has surpassed one of the most important updates in its 10-year history. This update, called Pectra, was successfully activated on the network around 13:00 Turkish time today. The name Pectra comes from the combination of two separate updates called “Prague” and “Electrum”. The update, which includes 11 different Ethereum Improvement Recommendations (EIP), brings solutions to transaction costs, scalability, and inefficiencies in the staking process. The main effects of Pectra on the end user can be listed as the increase in transaction capacity, the decrease in transaction fees, the ease of use and the increase in staking efficiency. Since the network can remove more transactions, users will wait less for their transactions to be approved, and network congestion will decrease. Ethemeum is aimed to work more fluidly, especially during periods when popular decentralized applications are used intensively. On the other hand, Pectra's changes related to staking will reflect positively on the end user, albeit indirectly. Although the minimum limit of 32 ETH required to become a validator with Pectra continues, the maximum amount a validator can stake has been increased from 32 ETH to 2048 ETH. Previously, someone with 40 ETH staked 32 ETH while leaving the remaining 8 ETH idle. Now all of these 40 ETH can be staked. This will increase efficiency, especially for big stakers running multiple validators. Similarly, staking transactions become user-friendly.

2 billion dollars to crypto funds: 180 million distributed to 4 altcoins Cryptocurrency funds were also positive for the third week in a row. As usual, Bitcoin was the cryptocurrency that received the largest investment, and Bitcoin funds were invested in $1.8 billion last week. On the other hand, 6.4 million dollars entered the 'short Bitcoin' funds towards the decline in Bitcoin. The investment amount received by these funds has thus reached the highest level since December 2024. The situation in altcoins Ethereum continued to remain strong in its second week, recording a total of 149 million dollars in revenues. Thanks to this, the total investments in the last two weeks reached 336 million dollars. Rival Solana, on the other hand, saw a more modest entry of 6 million dollars. Other prominent assets include XRP and Tezos. These two assets drew attention with an investment of 10.5 million and 8.2 million dollars, respectively.
