It has been 1 week since I switched from Apple to Samsung.

Here are some features that caught my attention;

Apple's Face ID feature is 500 times better than Samsung's facial recognition. Especially unlocking the screen in the dark is a nightmare. There is a fingerprint recognition system, but it is extremely poor; you have to press so hard on the screen (I don't use a screen protector). I used to have an iPhone 7 Plus, and its fingerprint recognition was much better. These features do not suit a flagship of a company like Samsung.

It's ridiculous that when you shake the phone, a sound comes from the camera; it turns out to be due to the optical image stabilizer, which is normal.

Sometimes when a call comes in, the touch screen freezes for no reason.

Battery performance is very, very good compared to iPhones. I compared it with the 16 Pro Max, and it's a bit better. (S24 ULTRA)

Galaxy AI features make using the phone quite enjoyable.

I didn't like the app optimizations. Especially in social media applications, it delays data. You have to close the app and reopen it. However, when I was using iPhone, there were severe lags and freezes while preparing a long post on Twitter; such an issue does not exist here.

Based on my 1-week experience, I have no regrets. If I were to go back to that day, I wouldn't spend extra money to buy the iPhone 15-16 Pro Max again. I was not considering the S25 Ultra at all because I do not like its design. The unique look of the S24 Ultra is not present in the S25 Ultra.

Compared to Apple, it has its pros and cons, but I think I made a sensible choice when comparing prices. What was important for me was battery performance; I chose it for battery performance rather than its price. It is much better in this regard compared to Apple.

In choosing a phone, what you expect from the phone is important.

I will see what we experience in the long run. If anyone is curious, I can write about my long-term usage experience.

It is definitely not #advertisement.
