Smarsh assured that it is "investigating a potential security incident." The agency notes that the application was used by former Trump national security advisor Walts.
❗️It was previously reported that a hacker breached TeleMessage and stole client data. The application is used by U.S. authorities. The service provides American high-ranking officials with "modified versions of messengers," including the notorious Signal.
Among the affected clients of TeleMessage are the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, and other financial organizations.
