According to TechFlow, the cryptocurrency market witnessed substantial liquidations amounting to $222 million over the past 24 hours, as reported by Coinglass data on May 5. Long positions accounted for $173 million of the liquidations, while short positions totaled $48.6 million. A total of 77,966 traders faced liquidations, with the largest single liquidation occurring on a centralized exchange (CEX) involving an $ETH $ETH position valued at $2.3588 million.
