What’s Banned?

Under the AMLR, crypto service providers (CASPs) are prohibited from offering or supporting privacy coins that obscure transaction histories and user identities. Additionally, anonymous crypto accounts and self-custodial wallets that cannot be tied to a verified identity will also be outlawed.
